Kentucky parents must submit a letter of intent to homeschool to their local Board of Education at the beginning of the school year.

  • At Academy 7, 7th Wonder Time allows students to explore a project that excites them, whether it’s researching ballet, writing a book, or building a model.

This time allows students to work independently, developing skills like time management, research, and problem-solving. Students present their projects at the end of each 6-week cycle, sharing their passion with the community.

  • We are a homeschool hybrid that blends flexible scheduling, hands-on learning, and small class sizes.

We strongly focus on social-emotional growth and student-led exploration.

Unlike traditional schools, Academy 7 fosters curiosity over testing, passion over pressure, and a balance of structure and freedom to help students thrive.

Students will learn at their own pace, with plenty of outdoor learning opportunities that connect them with nature, encourage exploration, and promote physical well-being.

They are not required to sit at desks or be stuck in a building for 8 hours a day. With outdoor breaks, relaxed learning spaces, and assessments being a thing of the past, students can kick off their shoes, read on bean bags, and truly enjoy their learning.

This is where learning becomes fun again!

  • Since Academy 7 is a homeschool hybrid, we do not issue traditional report cards. However, we provide progress updates and recommendations to support parents in tracking their child's learning.
